The Strava app on Google Watch 3 isn't very good – I can't set my favourite activity, Mountain Biking, so I have to scroll past about 30 activities to find it each time.

Instead, I've used the default Fitbit app (which does add Mountain Biking as a quick-select favourite). However, I can't get it to sync with Strava. I've read forums, reinstalled both apps, checked permissions on both apps multiple times etc.

Has anyone else had this issue?

OK, I hav some updates!

  1. As mentioned, when I clicked the Fitbit Mountain Biking icon to track my ride, it DIDN'T sync with Strava.
  2. The following day I went for a Hike, I clicked the Hike icon and it DID sync with Strava right away.
  3. The following day I tried using the the Fitbit Mountain Biking icon again, it DIDN'T sync with Strava.
  4. The following day I clicked the Cycle icon and it DID sync with Strava right away!

So it seems to be specific to Fitbit Mountain Biking.

cheers

My Pixel Watch 3 never syncs with Strava.

Problem solved by using an app called Health Sync from the play store.
