I managed to find workaround by downloading an app called FitnessSyncer and importing my activities from Apple Health. You can then go to the FitnessSyncer website and download a fit or tcx file from your activity and upload it into Strava. (I did not see any options to download the fit or tcx file in the app)
I am still hoping Strava could fix this issue as it seems to be a bug of some sort.

Hi, I’ve had the same issue today, are there any updates since this was last asked, for how I could fix it?
I'm also having this issue, I ran 4 races recorded on my Apple Watch (with the Apple Workout app, not the Strava app) this past weekend and the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon all imported normally into Strava, but the Marathon is stuck in some sort of limbo. Please provide an update to the status of this bug!
I had to figure out how to download the raw data or something and upload it manually. It doesn’t quite show up the same way properly imported runs do, but it’s better than not having it at all.
Hi,
You can checkout my reply (should be the first reply in this topic) for a workaround that worked for me at the time. I have not encountered the error since, but I haven't had any longer activities since either.
Hello! I have also had the same issue along with a friend who have both struggled to import a 32KM run. Any help would be appreciated as we have the London Marathon next weekend and would be gutted if we can’t upload and track it! - appreciate the work around by downloading the app - I will also give this a go in the meantime!
I have also run into this issue with a long bike ride recently (92K); the activity of the following day (42k) imported without any issues.
@Marya will this feed be updated when a fix is implemented?
Thank you!
same issue for me. shorter rides import fine but my 55 mile ride today is a stubborn one.
Hello everyone,
This problem is still ongoing.
Based on all your messages and my problem, I think the issue stems from the fact that there is too much data to import (too much GPS data, time data, speed data due to a marathon, a long bike ride, etc.).
If anyone from Strava happens to be reading this, I think this is something worth looking into.
Until this issue is resolved,
I wish you all the best for your future rides.
Hello all! Just a little note that our engineering team is working on a fix - we will circle back on this thread as soon as we have any more updates. Thank you for your patience!
