I use the Strava app on a Galaxy Watch running Wear OS 5. I have the device’s AOD (Always On Display) feature turned on.

When I’m in the middle of a run and the screen times out, it no longer displays the info screen (elapsed time, pace, distance, bpm). Strava should show some info on the screen when AOD is on.

Alternatively if it doesn’t work well with AOD, there should at least be a setting to keep the screen always on (and dimmed) while in the middle of an activity so I can easily see the information. The Samsung Health app has this option when in the middle of an activity.
