I am facing the exact same problem with a Sigma Rox 11.0 : My Sigma app shows that I did the full route, however, Strava come up with 9 kms before end endpoint (November 8, 2023 activity on my account).

After some invetigations, it seems to me that strava is shortening the Sigma ROX 11.0 activity by "confusing" total time and pedaling time..... but why since begining of october ???

Thanks for posting; we'll get that to the team that is investigating this issue.
I have the same problem. Trips shortened by the value of the stop

I have exactly the same problem (SIGMA ROX 11.0 data sync to STRAVA) and I am glad to have found your post. This leads me to the conclusion that there seems to be a Strava error. My Sigma app, the GPX file (e.g. in Bikerouter, Komoot, etc.) and also the FIT file show that I have ridden the entire route. Only STRAVA sets an end point on the route that is far before the actual end point. I have tested whether this is a data protection setting which is not the case. The error did not occur on 11/10, only on 11/11 and 12/11/2023. Hypothesis: maybe there is a connection with the timestamp, as I stopped and continued the rides on 11/11 and 12/11/2023 for a few minutes exactly at the point where STRAVA sets the endpoint. The Sigma device was set to auto-stop.
In the meantime, I have submited a ticket and am looking forward to their feedback.
Thank you all for bringing this to our attention.
Our team is aware of the issue and currently investigating to find a solution.
To those new to this post, please submit a support ticket if this is a new issue for you.
If you've already submitted a support ticket, we thank you for your cooperation.
Once we have more news we'll be sure to share that update here.
Thank you!
Hi, I have the same problem with strava route shows that I ended my ride sooner than I actually did. My Sigma app shows that I did the full route, however I have Sigma ROX 11.0, too. My moving time is 1h39m46sec and elapsed time is 1h45m41sec. When I uploaded this route to strava, so exactly the time of the break (pause time 5m55sec), on this time my activity was shorter (sooner end point). My last two activities November 8th and November 14th (today) were shorter, same problems.
Hello All!
We are aware of an issue with Sigma activities syncing to Strava with a shortened distance. While we don't have a fix yet, we are currently working with Sigma engineers to investigate the issue and hope to have a fix soon.
Exactly the same problem, using Sigma Rox 11.0 GPS.
I hope the problem would be solved soon.
Best regards
UPDATE: We have confirmed with Sigma's engineers that the issue is on their end. Sigma has requested that athletes currently experiencing this issue reach out to their support team directly for further assistance with resolving the issue. Dear customer,
thank you very much for your message.
STRAVA has changed something in the calculation of the distances so that break times are deducted from the distance in the STRAVA calculation. Please use your ROX without manual and automatic pause then you will also have the exact distance in STRAVA. We are working on a solution for the problem, but I cannot tell you when and how it will look like.
Have a great day. Stay healthy.
Virtual/Indoor rides too. Its affecting Challenges. I've just done a 100KM indoor ride and Strava lists it as an 86Km ride. Sigma Rox 11. looking back its affected my last 4 indoor rides ..Regards
Problem is still present with Sigma Rox 11.0. I`ve also submitted a ticket last year and Strava accused that the problem is on the Sigma side, Sigma accused Strava that the problem is on their side. So what now??
Use your ROX without manual and automatic pause then you will also have the exact distance in STRAVA.
I have the same problem. recorded with rox 11.0. I uploaded first with android app, then with the PC and the result was the same. finally I uploaded manually the FIT file, and again the same. Only when I uplaoded the tcx file it was working, but I lost all my power values. Still not a good solution.
Yes, same for me. Uploading the tcx is fine for me, but i hate that the data for calories and power is wrong with that method. Submitted a ticket at sigma and hoping for a reply, in the meantime i am trying to switch off the automatic pause, but i dont like that solution either...
It's now been over 3 months?!?! What's the solution? Buy another brand GPS?
Sadly thats exactly the solution im aiming for right now... Currently planning on buying a wahoo to not have this issue anymore, eventhough i dont like to buy a new one if my sigma still works (aside from this problem)
A real pity. I quite like my sigma but it seems the urgency to fix the issue is absent. Quite frustrating.
Yes, i also like the device but i dont have any hope that they try to fix a device which is on the market since more than 7 years with new products already out...
