I couldn’t sync my device and had to keep logging in and getting codes. I think the system has blocked me. It has been hours and I can’t connect support I just keep getting chatbot. Does anyone know how to get back in? 
 

 

Hi ​@Rach_12, I’m not sure about the exact setup on Strava’s side, but in general, there's usually some time period after which the temporary lock gets lifted (for example: user enters incorrect password x times, any further attempts get blocked for e.g. 24 hrs, then it's possible to try again).

If you suspect that you're using incorrect password, you can try resetting it here - https://www.strava.com/account/recover

If that doesn't help, you might need to email Support at support@strava.zendesk.com - as this forum is a community hub, i.e. users helping/advising each other, but without access to things like subscriptions, logins etc. 


There are indeed limits to how often you can login to your Strava account in a limited period of time. Exceeding the threshold will prevent you from logging in further. As mentioned by Jana_S earlier, waiting a full 24 hours to login again will ensure you do not continue to hit any limits.

 

When connecting a 3rd party account to Strava, it should not be necessary to login to your Strava account more than once. The behavior described leads me to think that you are experiencing more than one level of confusion originally. Describing the steps you are taking as well as where in the process you encounter trouble could help us clear up the confusion if trouble continues to occur.
