[Resolved] no heart rate data

I’m having the exact same issue. Keen to hear what the solution is.  One day it was working, the next it isn’t.  

In the mobile app, go to the tab You > tap the gear wheel in the top right corner to open Settings > scroll down and tap Data Permissions > Health-Related Data > set to Always Allowed

It was already set to ‘access allowed’.  I’ve tried logging out and back, deleting app and reinstalling.  Even replaced battery in my HRM.  But still not saving the HR data at end of run.  When I click ‘finish’ at end of a run it comes up with a ‘something went wrong’ red banner at the top, but does save all of the other data from the run. 

Adding in that I am having the same issue and looks like some others also are based on the posts here. Seems to be a new bug introduced within the past week.

I’ve been having this issue also, since the 414.0.0 update…

Using an iPhone 16, w/ ios18.5, everything within the app was working as expected. Did a ride the morning of June 5th, HR data was recorded, updated the app to 414.0.0 that evening, next day’s ride (June 6th) the HR data not saved. Did a bunch of troubleshooting, rode yesterday (June 8th), still no HR data being saved. While recording my rides, the HR is being shown, my HR monitor is connected, but no HR data being saved at the end of the session.Hope this gets resolved,it is one of the key reasons I use Strava.

Hi adding on this, I also experience similar case where my heart rate data (avg HR, max HR) are not displayed after i finished my workout. Before I started my workout I’ve connected my Huawei Fit 3 watch with Strava via HR sensor and when I do my workout the HR data still displayed. However after I finished the session, the only data displayed is time. 
 

Previously it works fine but since 3 days ago the HR data is not displayed.

I have a MOOFIT heart rate monitor model HW401-23394.  Heart rate shows during activity but is not retained.  The Heart Rate Insights section is saying that no heart rate monitor was connected.  This did not happen when I first usefd the monitor.  The failure started on June 6, 2025.

I have the exact same issue since June 6 (on June 4 it was fine) with the iPhone app and my POLAR H10 heart rate sensor. Heart rate data showing while riding my bike but not available after finishing and saving the ride. Please fix this soon! Thank you! 

same issue here. iPhone 13 and some kind of standard chest based heart rate monitor.

Heart rate showing perfectly. Done with workout, heart rate info gone. Annoying.

Hope they roll out the fix ASAP.

Same issue here with a garmin chest strap.

I’ve been experiencing this issue since Friday 6th June. It affects my cycling and workouts. Currently using an iPhone 14 Pro on iOS18.3.2 paired with a garmin chest strap. I have tried using an old iPhone 8 and that is also experiencing the same problem.

Same here, problem started June 6th, Sigma strap.

Version 415.0.0 rolled out last nite, hope this is the fix we are looking for. Will find out later today.

I installed the latest update (415.0.0), but still the same issue.

I’m pleased to say that the update solved the issue for me.  Thank you Strava app engineers

Hey, I'm a few months late but I'm having this exact same issue 😭
During my workout, I connected my google pixel watch as a HR sensor and it shows my HR but not afterwards
Above, "Jana S" said to go to Data Permissions but that section isn't there for me, I'm on an android Strava Version "435.9”, is that outdated?
Maybe I could just stick to using the Strava app on my watch, or is there any other alternative. Please let me know. Thanks
