Anyone else experiencing an abundance of notifictions for friends completing workouts and runs? Just started about 15 minutes ago.

I already have notifications enabled for a few of my favorites, but it’s other connections showing up- and not the “Jane has uploaded her first run in a while, give her kudos!” These are regular people. I didn’t see anything changed in my push notification settings but it is already getting super annoying!

Yep, seeing this in the desktop version as well. “Your friend [name] completed a run. Time for some kudos.”

I have nothing enabled to warrant seeing these notifications, nor did I ever see them before today. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and not an attempt at increasing engagement...

Also just noticed this, ludicrously annoying. I already disliked this for when people “returned” after a period of decreased activity, but for every single activity uploaded by someone I follow...that’s what the feed is for thanks. Having more control over notifications or other settings would be really cool and empathetic of a feature to develop.

Yep, same here.  Just got a number of them flooding my notifications.

Same for me. It's good that it's a bug and not a new feature as I initially thought, otherwise I would have started muting all my friends.

It used to be only for friends that I have starred, but I am now getting them for lots of activities that are from friends I don’t have starred. This appeared to start this morning.

this is a totally awesome feature! I’m sure it took their junior dev months of development and undoubtedly is the reason they raised subscription prices! worth it!🙄

Same here. Looks like a new option in the Push Notifications - but this really really should be disabled by default. I don't like the idea that random followers are notified about each run I upload, and am not overly excited about all the notifications I’m getting...

It's smack a developer day.

Why are we getting notifications for every activity 😑
