[Resolved] Some Peloton activities no longer syncing from Peloton App to Strava

Thanks for your message.  I checked in with the Team and unfortunately this is still outstanding and not resolved.  We understand this is frustrating.  Apologies I don't have better news but we'll continue to work to resolve this and I'll post an update here as soon as I have one.

Hi Jane - is there any update here? I cannot understand how this can still be going on for months. I pay for subscriptions for both Strava and peloton and this is completely not acceptable that the so called “tech team” cannot figure this glitch? It makes me think it’s a deliberate ploy so people buy the peloton treadmill for running so the running classes cannot be recorded using gym treadmills

Any update on a resolution for this issue? My outdoor Peloton exercise (using the iPhone app) does not sync to Strava like it used to.

It does correctly sync to Apple Health, so it seems to be a Strava issue. Very disappointing.

I have 2 regular gym treadmills I use for my Peloton App treadmill runs. One of the treadmills has bluetooth capabilities that can send my speed and incline to the Peloton app, one does not have this bluetooth option. I realized recently that the app treadmill workouts I do with the treadmill that had bluetooth connect DO send to Strava from Peloton, but the ones where the treadmill can't connect DO NOT send. Just wanted to mention this in case it helps with the fix! I tried to reach out to Peloton support about this and they didn't understand what I was saying.

Any updates? Have Peloton responded at all? Should we be taking this up with their support?

Peloton support told me they do not work with Strava on any integrations or troubleshooting. 

Should we consider this impossible to resolve?

Same here. Not always syncing with Strava.

I’m pretty sure the issue is on Peloton’s side and we’ll have to complain to their support team.

 

On my end walks and runs taken with the Peloton app don’t make it to Strava. It works fine if you use the Peloton Tread and do a run.

Thanks for reporting this.  We are aware of this issue, and are working with Peloton to hopefully resolve this issue going forward.   The workaround in the meantime would be to enter the missed activity manually on Strava.

Hi ​@Jane! I know this is not Strava’s fault, it’s something Peloton needs to fix, but I’m not sure why this issue is marked as solved, it still exists today.

Still an issue and really frustrating because adding the activity manually doesn't bring across the heart rate data!

Hello all! We are going to mark this Known Issue as resolved. As of now, Peloton is working on the issue and if any athlete's are having repeated issues, please reach out to Peloton for updates/troubleshooting (https://support.onepeloton.com/). In the meantime, the workaround would be to enter the missed activity manually on Strava to get the credit for the missing activities.
