So i record my trainings with Polar and while i stop the recording for pauses, when uploaded to Strava the total time includes the pauses. That more or less will ruin my avg heartbeats elapsed times etc, is there something i could do?

Hi @Koopati, in general Strava uses two times for activities - Moving and Elapsed. Moving time excludes the pauses, Elapsed is a total including also pauses.

Workouts summaries usually display the Moving time (and the average pace is calculated from that), the Elapsed time is available in the activity details. There's one exception - if an activity is marked as a Race, pauses are ignored (for obvious reasons).

I’m not using Polar myself so I’m not sure whether there's any difference with that, but if it's recording the pauses correctly, the activity should display on Strava as described above. If it's not, perhaps include a link to a sample activity if you're ok with sharing it, and someone familiar with Polar may try looking into it.

Hi @Koopati, I’ve stumbled upon a similar thread which seems to suggest it might be a Polar problem, have a look:

So perhaps it would be worth reaching out also to Polar support and asking them.
