Hi,

I’m using an Apple Watch to track my workouts. The app only analyses calories burnt for running and walking. It doesn’t show calories burnt for weight training/ HIIT or pilates. I noticed my friends calories burnt are being shown. I’ve put in my weight in the app and I downloaded new updates on my phone and watch. Is there something I’m missing?

Thanks for your post. At this time, Strava only performs a calorie calculation on a ride, run, walk, and hike activities.

As you are using an Apple Watch you can solve your issue easily.  Record your weight training sessions etc with the Apple Workout app on the watch and then sync back to Strava by connecting the Apple Watch as a device.  I do this and it works perfectly.
