Strava stopped sync’ing activities from the Suunto app. I know it has been asked a few times before, but I have tried all provided solution, such as deleting and re-installing Strava, disconnecting and reconnecting Strava, but not worked. Also I am sync’ing from Suunto to other apps and that is working, so it’s definitely on the Strava end of things. It also used to work until a couple days ago, when it up and stopped working. Please advise on how to resolve.
Hello, I can't upload activity to Strava since today morning, anyone else have this problem?

Strava and my Suunto 9 lost the connection, after I did an update today (for Strava and Suunto app) on my Samsung S21. Have re-established the connection, and my Suunto 9 app now says connected with Strava, but no uploads from Suunto on Strava.

Once again reporting that workouts done in the Suunto app are not uploading to Strava…as of January 18th, 2025.
This extremely frustrating as I have a Race tomorrow.

Are you sure this is a Suunto problem? Am experiencing the same today, but not sure, whether this is a Suunto or a Strava problem? In my case my Suunto app clearly states it’s connected with Strava, but today only 1 activity (from 3) got uploaded to Strava. Quite weird...

Have disconnected my Suunto 9 from Strava, but now I can’t reconnect. Would be nice to speak with a human being at Strava, as the chatbot doesnt understand what I want. Why am I paying 70 bucks for Strava premium and it does not work?

Looking at the Suunto app setting “partner services” “Strava” (which was present & working) was removed. I reconnected, but Suunto doesn’t show at the Strava app/site “partner integrations” & it still doesn’t sync.
Could re-connect now my Suunto 9 with Strava, after I experiend the same like FrancisW, as the Strava logo suddenly disappeared. Have rebooted my phone, both apps now connected, but still there are some activities are missing. A comment and help from Strava would be nice though….!
I have the same issue too at the moment. For the last couple of days now. I’ve tried everything and nothing is helping and making a difference. Quite frustrating!
Other users are recently experiencing the same problem, but no feedback so far from Strava, even not from their hotline support@strava.zendesk.com. It’s quite annoying.
My Strava app now shows uploaded records which I manually entered in my Suunto app, but only in the general section, not under “my activities”. Would be nice to get a substantial reply from Strava to get this sorted…..! 😕
Having similar issues since Friday when one of my activities was flagged! Apparently the app thinks I used a vehicle on a combined trail/park route. Nothing uploaded from Suunto to Strava since then :(
Same here. Strava stopped syncing from the Suunto app since yesterday 18th Jan. There indeed have been several similar reports, but they seem to have been resolved in the beginning of January. Now seems to be again the same issue. Also tried all re-install and re-connect things, but without success so far.

Good afternoon, Strava upload worked again today with a fresh record (without any reply from Strava btw), but I still have 2 records on my Suunto app, which don’t show up on my Strava account or on the Strava app.
Any idea, how can I get those 2 records synchronized on Strava, pls? 😘

I think it’s a strava problem, _not_ a Suunto problem. Like I said Suunto is sync’ing to other apps, just not Strava
Just found out, you can manually upload Suunto records from the Suunto app into the Strava account/app.
Yes, you can download the FIT file for example and upload it, but you need to manually do it one at a time, so it does not scale and is only a last resort solution
Got a reply today Mon 20th Jan from Suunto support, where they confirmed that this Suunto app sync issue to Strava has been ongoing for the last 2-3 weeks. Suunto team is working on it and it should be fixed soon. Activities during the incident period need to be manually synced with e.g. by downloading the FIT file from Suunto app and uploading it to Strava, like written in the earlier comments. New activities will be synced when you reconnect Strava in partnered services in the Suunto app. At least for undersigned this connection was dropped due to the incident and needed to be reconnected.
Hi, I had the same bug! I disconnected Strava from Suunto for ~6hrs and reconnected it, it now works again.
