Unable to change email address/not receiving password recovery emails

I am unsuccessfully trying to change the email associated with my Strava account from A to B.

 

I use Google Sign-In to access Strava. When trying to change my email address it asks me for a password, but I have never created a password. I tried to use the password Recovery option many times but never received an email.

When going to the account settings page I see the option for changing password but it dissappears the moment the page loads.

I emailed Stava support about the issue but I'm not getting my hopes up. I see a lot of people complaing about their unresponsiveness.

 I'm afraid that Strava Support is the only option to get help with this - here at the community hub, we're fellow Strava users advising each other, but we don't have any access to people's accounts. 

From what I hear the Support team is dealing with a backlog of tickets, meaning that the response times are indeed longer. Anyway, I hope they'll get back to you rather sooner than later.
