I have a NordicTrack (NT) studio bike that uses iFIT, and I have synched iFit with Strava.

When I do a map-based workout on my NT bike, the workout is captured in Strava as a Virtual Run and the sport type box is greyed out (can’t modify to virtual ride).  How do I get this fixed so my rides are categorized correctly and not recoding as runs, which has wrecked all my running PRs. 😖😖😖

Hey @aeromed,

Have you already tried re-establishing the connection between iFit & Strava?

More information on the integration between the two can be found here.

My toggle is switched “on” in the iFIT app, per instructions in the link you provided, and activities are synching between the two apps.  The issue is with trying to edit the sport type in the Strava app… not with data synchronization.  Why is the ability to change sport type grayed out?

You have to submit a support ticket if you want to change the sport type of virtual activities. A link is provided in the support article https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216919587-Virtual-Trainer-Activities-on-Strava

Hey @aeromed,

Unfortunately, Athletes are no longer able to manually adjust activities that upload as virtual

As @Jan_Mantau mentioned, you can submit a support ticket if you notice the incorrect upload once or twice.
If your activity runs into this issue each time you upload, I recommend reaching out to iFit support for advice about how the files are being pushed into Strava.

Thanks, I have already flagged my entries on Strava for them to be fixed. I also reached out to iFIT.
