I am unable to share a run recorded on Strava but not one synched with Strava from Peloton. I used to be able to do this. Not anymore.

are you talking about the Flyover sharing? As that is only available for activities with a GPS record as far as I know. From the 2nd screenshot that you've posted, it looks like that the activity doesn't have that.
Also - if you tap the “More” button, you should see additional sharing options.
