watch 4 and strava sync

Hello, my morning run has disappeared. I use a Samsung Watch 4 Classic without the GSM module. My run finished properly, I pressed finish and then done, and when I got home I waited for my watch to sync, but now it didn’t do anything. The app says “0 unsynced activity” and there is no sign anywhere that my morning run took place. Please fix this and restore the data of my morning run.

@Szeki - Sorry for the troubles syncing your recent activity recording. Can you please try resyncing the activity? History folder on your watch > 'Tap to Sync' button.

If that is not possible, we suggest reaching out to Samsung Support to understand has the activity been saved correctly.

Ciao ​@Szeki. Are you using the Strava app on your watch or are you just trying to sync the activity with the smartphone app?

Anyway you can't see the saved activity on your watch, is it correct?

Ciao ​@Szeki have you tried to reinstall the app? This is to try to avoid future issues. I hope you have hystorical data for the activity you're trying to sync.

Does the watch (like an Apple Watch) have a workout app that can record your run that can then sync with Strava?

If it does please try that.  At the very least it will ensure your data source is intact, then if your watch won’t sync to Strava you have option to load the results via a .fit file or similar.
