  • @TijR asked about merging activities without losing power data. Fellow users like ​@arc88 chimed in with tips: using FIT or TCX files seems to be the best way to keep everything intact.

  • A few users, including ​@abrahammoncherry , had runs stuck on the “processing” screen. Looked like a short-term issue on Strava’s end, which is now cleared up and syncing is back to normal. ​

 

♾️ Are Samsung laps supposed to Sync to Strava?

  • @DulacLancelot had a question around Samsung Fitness and recording laps. ​@Jan_Mantau, providing some context between splits and laps and how to view them.

  • Device Integration Spotlight: Samsung & Strava (Part 1): A newly launched series delving into popular device integrations with Strava. The first one kicked off with Samsung with key highlights being: 
    • Samsung Health Sync: Only new activities with GPS data sync to Strava; non-GPS workouts won't transfer.

    • Wear OS App: The Strava app on Wear OS records time, distance, and heart rate, but lacks lap tracking and route features.

    • Tizen OS Support: Support for the Strava app on Tizen OS will end in 2025.
