I'm absolutely dissatisfied about the recent change from Mapbox (worked well!) to OpenMapTiles (absolutely worthless). Why Strava has changed this? Now, highway junctions are mentioned, as wel as highway ramps. Not a single sporter will be interested in highways. Them maps are showing much more irrelevant information now. It's a pity... is this meant to be?

I thought something looked off when I opened the app today. The colors clued me into the change. So far I only see it for the route thumbnail. What are you seeing about highways?

Pehaps this self-hosted system gives Strava greater flexibility in map maintenance.

@Marya is there an official help document that explains the change or its benefits?

The new map style looks quite cluttered, and the landmark labels appear very large, which makes the map harder to read.
