Creating a Club Event

From the club page, select Add Club Event. Please note that only the clubs' creators can add group events. Fill out the details for your event in the Group Event lightbox. Once you've completed the required fields (marked with asterisks), select the option to Save Club Event. When the Club Leaderboard tab is selected, this event will appear at the top of your club page. Please be aware that start times and dates are required to create a club event, and the event page will not be accessible after the event's start time. At this time, it is not possible to create an event that will last more than one day.

View, Edit, and RSVP to a Club Event

Click on the Club Leaderboard tab if you are not already there, and click on the event name to view the event details and route options, or check out the discussion. 

• Select I'm in to RSVP for the event and reveal a dropdown you can use to mark yourself "out" if needed.
• If this is your event, you can use the dropdown in the upper right to edit or delete the event.

Does the start time of your club event appear incorrect?

We're currently investigating an issue that is affecting the times of some Club events with dates that occur after daylight savings begins. Please note this issue only affects events viewed in the mobile app; your members will see the correct start time displayed when viewing the event via strava.com.

Hi. I am an organiser of an annual charity cycle event in UK. Like most Sportives, we use chip timing which simply records the start and finish times without taking into account stops at feed stations, etc. The majority of participants already record more accurate performance stats using their own GPS device or mobile app and then upload to strava.

I would love to ask all our Sportive riders to join the group event on strava but there is currently no way to display a club leaderboard for the day of the event. The only options are 'This week' and Last week' which are not relevant to the event. Are there plans to add such a feature? I would love to do away with chip timing and encourage everyone to join the strava community. Thank you.

Thanks for your post and sorry for the delay. At this time, the leaderboard options are 'This week' and Last week'. I see that you have suggested having a daily leaderboard on our ideas board here. If others are wanting this, they should kudo the idea and leave a reply that will be reviewed by our product team. You can share your idea link with others in the hopes that it will gain some traction from the community.
