so i recently started to cycle on a Bluetooth Connected fitness bike.  i Connect my Apple Watch and record to Apple fitness. once done i import to Strava. I want to show the distance i have cycled but Strava is not showing the data even though its avaible via Apple fitness. is This a missing feature? A bug? Am i missing someting?  Best reguards.

Several times now my Apple watch is stopping with low battery after a run with Strava. I record my 50 min run in my watch (series 6) with battery on ~50%.Soming back home, before I can synchronize the run, the watch suddenly turns off due to low battery power. If I can manage to synchronize the run immediately as I get home, the battery level remains OK.Also the recharging, getting back to live takes longer  and it drains the battery down immediately as long the run ist not synched. After synching everything is back to normal. Any idea how to solve this issue?

Hello, I would like to remove or revoke members from my club who are posting inappropriate content or appear to be bots. As the club owner, I currently don’t have access to the full member list and therefore can’t remove them. How can you assist us with this issue?

I have created many new Segments in the last 7 years and I am quite familiar with the process.  Typically the leaderboards for new Segments are built in an hour or so and the process evidently involves scanning the most recent Activities first (if I am bored I might refresh the new leaderboard a few times to see it develop).About 20 hours ago I created a new Segment.  When I look at the leaderboard just now I see only 54 entries (there should be about 300, because the new Segment is essentially the first half of a much longer Segment that has this many) and all the entries are after Oct 2023, suggesting the process is only about 15 % complete.About 8 hours ago I created 3 more Segments.  When I looked just now these new Segments only have a few entries in their leaderboards and nothing before October 2025, suggesting the process is running at only a fraction of the usual speed.Is this a known problem ?  When can we expect things to return to “normal” ?Tha

Why dont we ever hear back on suggestions we’ve taken the effort to register? All we see it a small amount of upvotes, and never hear back again. The reason for the small amount of votes is because of the effort it requires to register on the community hub. If this was an easier process for the average Strava User (voting) we would see a surge in upvotes! Come on Strava, you can do better? 

Welche Vollhirnis sind auf die Idee gekommen, dass bei der letzten Slide des Sportjahres, nur jener teilbare Überblick anpassbar (nur Laufen, nur Radfahren, etc) der dieses hässliche Design orange mit schwarzem hintergrund hat. Wie viele instagram storys nicht gemacht wurden, nur weil bei der transparenten Übersicht alle kilometer (egal ob mit Rad, zu Fuß oder schwimmend absolviert) zusammengerechnet sind. It would be helpful to be able to filter routes by sun exposure.  Incorporating information on tree cover might be a challenge, but accounting for topography, buildings, time of day and time of year would be a start, which is information that seems to be available on other tools:  https://shademap.app/.

Unfortunately, the request has not been approved yet, even though user growth is ongoing and we’re close to hitting the current cap.I’m curious to hear from others: Has anyone here successfully gotten their athlete limit increased beyond 1,000? How long did the approval process take in your case? Were there any specific metrics, usage patterns, or implementation details (e.g. webhooks, deauthorization flow, caching strategy) that helped with approval? I just entered the 55 plus category, and looking ahead to 65, it's hard to imagine going as hard  as I do now.  Just as I know it's noticeably harder now than it was at 45.  Lord knows I'm working my tail off.  So it seems that after 45 or 50, it would be a bit more fair and beneficial to make it a 5 year age group.  Personally, I don't mind people knowing my age either, so it'd be nice to see a person's age in their profile so I know if I'm competing against a young kid or not.

I rode tonight and got a KOM on The Lost Boys Segment. This should be removed.

I'm not sure why this changed, but it used to be that when I started recording an activity through my Apple watch, the activity types I did most often showed up at the top of the list. However, recently, the order has completely changed, and I have to do a lot of scrolling to find the activity type I do the most.I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but it's certainly annoying.

Is there a way to keep the ride ‘live’ on Strava, but to exclude it from the Fitness/Freshness algorithm calculations?Last September, on holiday, I climbed a number of mountains on my bike, including Tourmalet.  Part way up that climb, my power meter began to malfunction and, broadly speaking, continuously added about 600-watts to my actual power at any given time.  Whilst that resulted in a rather impressive set of stats at the end of the ride (!), it was obviously incorrect.  It has also meant that every Fitness/Freshness graph I produce on Strava ever since has a huge and misleading ‘peak’ if I let the system calculate it using power.If it had been pretty much any other ride, I would probably have simply deleted that ride from Strava to avoid the distortion, but, for obvious reasons, I wanted to keep that particular’s day’s climbs as part of my ‘official record’.

When editing an activity from the listing (https://www.strava.com/athlete/training), ticking the checkbox “Commute” does not work.Furthermore, this works from the android app, but taking the same activity from the web and saving it again removes the tag

Some of us train for mountain races on treadmills and stair steppers. It turns out there is no way to enter elevation gain as a part of a manual activity, at least not in my Android Strava app. Can this please be fixed? 

This is my fitness in the last 3 months according to Strava as I am training for an upcoming 100 miler. In reality this couldn't be any further from truth. My aerobic fitness went up significantly. I handle heat much better than 3 months ago, and I recover quickly from long training runs.What Strava calls fitness is highly misleading. This should be called something like acute training load as this gives a lot of emphasis on time spent in high intensity. But that isn't fitness as people who end up training too hard (at too high intensity) all the time tend to plateau. This doesn't encourage to train smart and only works to reflect noob gains for people who have just started exercising. Also consider the fact that the biggest gains in "fitness" on this graph are from finishing races. But again that is false. Running a long distance race in fact suppresses fitness

Hi All,Am I the only one who cannot save the map setting about heatmaps?It stopped working some time ago.When I open the maps, I can turn on the heatmaps layer; it works as usual, but only until I temporarily switch to another application or just turn off and on the screen.I haven't found any workaround yet, unfortunately.

I just got a new phone, and after installing the Strava app, I noticed that any time I try to view an activity (either mine or someone I follow) the app crashes. It also crashed if I try to tap on the Maps or Record features. I can navigate the rest of the app features like Groups, If I go to the “You” feature I can also navigate within the Progress option plus I can scroll down my list of activities but just can’t open any.It has been uploading activities from Zwift and my Wahoo Element IRL rides without issue.I had a Pixel 6a before and now a Pixel 8 Pro. Same Android OS version/build on both phones and settings for the Strava app are all the same too.I have done the usual troubleshooting like clear app storage/cache and also uninstalled/reinstalled the app too.Not sure if it’s a specific feature of the Pixel 8 Pro causing the issues that my 6a did not have but it’s very frustrating.Thanks for any suggestions offered!

How do you assign shoes to a bike?I have selected Cycling as my default sport but when I try to add shoes to a bike I do not get a choice of bike only Running  , walking etc. sports.
