I am developing a app that integrates with Strava and am in the process of converting from polling to using the webhook API. Currently it only posts updates on activity creation, deletion, or when two fields are updated, title, or type (and privacy). This is a bit underwhelming as if a user changes anything else, for example the duration or start time of the activity. This makes it impossible to sync time data with Strava without polling the API ever X duration, it would be really helpful if date related changes were included in webhook updates.If I am missing something lmk. Many MTB and Gravelbike activities are missing on my personal heatmap. Same issue as in april, but now it is on the desktop, on mobile (android) it works. This is really upsetting me, as i need the personal heatmap to plan new activities. What`s happening there Strava?
Hi!I would like to know if there is any way to filter segments by the activity_type or activities based on the type of run, like "Race" or "Long Workout".At this moment, I'm just fetching all the data and then filtering on my own server, but depending on how many activities a user has, takes some time.Thanks!
I created a route. I saved it. Now I can see it in "my routes". But the routes it's inside a small box, between community pictures on top, elevation profile on bottom and routes attributes on the left.There is no way of clicking the routes and enlarge it. Also I cannot see the surface type, walk the route, see the pictures on the spots etc. I go back to "maps". I check no filters are active. I wait some time (like some minutes). Things start to appear (not always, but that's another story), bubbles with photo, public routes etc. everything except my route.Why I cannot see my routes on the map? Why I can't enlarge the map in my routes?

Hey friends, I've been dying for an "all-time local legend" feature (i.e. number of attempts on a segment not just in the past 90 days). I'd really like to build it myself from the Strava API but I'm not sure I can extrapolate the data from what the API surfaces. I'm able to get the local legend data for a given segment, but nothing before the last 90 days. I'm wondering 2 things:- Am I missing an easy way to solve this problem?- If not, would the Strava engineering team every consider adding functionality to the API to fetch all time local legends? (Or even fetching local legends for a given time range).Any thoughts are welcome!
Hi,getLoggedInAthleteActivities does not include a field for descent. I understand that the fields in SummaryActivity are returned, but why is there no field containing information about the negative elevation gain during an activity. I feel that this is a central piece of information if an activity's start/end places are not the same.Are there plans to add this information? Coming from https://github.com/dblock/slack-strava/issues/157. I have 3,461 users authenticated with Strava according to https://www.strava.com/settings/api, but only 1,226 are currently active. Many users were trials or dropped off the app.I'll work on de-authorizing users before deleting them, but is there a way to list authenticated users/purge these users for whom tokens weren't renewed in a long time? Any other ideas of how to deal with authorized users that aren't active and have expired tokens?
Hi, I'm trying to find out some things about the Stava community as a whole, over the last year (or longer).Things like sport/activity popularity by country, number of clubs per country, popular routes in each country, etc.To do this I'd need more data than is feasible to collect using the API as far as I can see, so I was wondering if there is a data dump available anywhere, or perhaps I've missed an endpoint summarising Strava data which could be useful.Does anyone know if either of those resources exist somewhere?Thanks!
Has anyone encountered an issue when using the API to upload a TCX file, where the GPS track displays as a straight line, the positioning is incorrect, but other information is still visible? Similar to the attached image. Thanks
Hello, I'm using the getClubActivities endpoint to keep a tally of individual rides in my club. I would like to limit the response to a certain date, or at least to a certain week (i.e. this week). Is there a way to do this? Getting the date of the activity in the API Response would be enough.
Regarding swagger definition on https://developers.strava.com/swagger/swagger.json, the definition of parameter `weight` of the endpoint could be incorrect as I think it should be `query` instead of `path`.
I have strange issue with my personal heatmap it looks OK on the map but when I try to plan route Strava shows me heatmap which is quite outdated (it looks like my personal heatmap from year ago or more)
HII have a Club that does specific rides. The are not club events. We have a virtual route every day that members can ride within a date range. The times are then tallied after all the stages are done to get a winner. Problem is Strava get the entire ride time, so you finish a ride and then continue to do 5-10 min cooldown. This total time is then allocated to the club leaderboard. I then develop an API with the idea to extract the time at a certain distance. So I know the stage is 30km long and would then take the time at the point for my custom leaderboard. But I have seen that to get stream data from Strava you need to have the activity ID. Hello,I am trying to subscribe to webhook events, but I have the following issues.I get an error: "GET to callback URL does not return 200", so I did a test, as mentioned in Troubleshooting Tips, by sending a GET request to my callback URL. The test worked fine and the response is under 2 seconds. I would appreciate some feedback on this matter. I have also attached 2 images showing the process. In the first image, there is a POST request to the subscription endpoint with a status of 400, while the second is a test to my callback URL with a status of 200.Am I missing something here? Hi there, lets say I live in X city and there are 10 cycling clubs in the city or 10 running clubs, I'd like to host a calendar available to the public that can see any event that gets posted by any of these clubs so that we can get more people aware of what's going on, cycling, running, and finding community. Dear Strava-Team.I recently had the issue of not noticing that i forgot to restart my paused roade bike ride, becase i obviously did not tap the "continue" button on my mobile app correctly. And since the small icon at the top edge of the cellphone screen (circle-icon notification) is the same when the app is paused as it is when it's recording i did not figure the status of the mobile app correctly. My fault in the firtst place. I think it could be helpful if the icon would point out the different status of the app by showing a differet icon. It already does when "auto pause" is applied. Maybe you could find a solution for this rare issue, even if i know most riders record with a different device, but mobile/cell phone, it would be a big help for app recordings.
