🎾 Add activity type: Padel

Hi, it'd be nice to see Padel as a new activity type 🙂

It's pretty popular in the world and would match racquet sports that has been added recently (thank you for that!):

According to the FIP (International Padel Federation), over 25 million people play padel in over 90 countries around the world.

A long time you have passed and Strava has not included Padel as an activity. There are many users who have asked for it and many more who need it and have not expressed it. I don't understand why there is so much delay for something that is not complicated at all and is similar to other sports.

we understand but we are speaking about only one activity which is today growing and growing. Personally I stopped to pay and will pay back when Strava will hear and react to our simply request since a year

Hi Robin,

thank you for your feedback. But this is really a "one size fits all" answer (AI generated?). This is like saying - yes I can put another picture on the wall but first I need to evaluate all other tasks, update my overall plan and blablabla..The request to add padel is more than 1 year old. Tennis and even pickleball(?!!) is already there. Copy/paste should be easy.

I'll cancel my membership as well.

P.S.: Once someone from management team at Strava starts playing padel they will have it added right away - without the blablabla..

The reply from Strava support centre is a complete cop-out. I refuse to believe it is a complicated process to add a sport practiced by millions and millions of people throughout the world. There is clearly a heavy US biais in the sports they choose to add, pickleball and raquetball are perfect examples. I will not be renewing my premium subscription either until they add padel.

I cannot believe Padel is not an option on Strava. Good that I did not start my payment for the subscription and checked it first. Disappointed.
