🎾 Add activity type: Padel

Hi, it'd be nice to see Padel as a new activity type 🙂

It's pretty popular in the world and would match racquet sports that has been added recently (thank you for that!):

According to the FIP (International Padel Federation), over 25 million people play padel in over 90 countries around the world.

I have been watching the comments grow and I think it's much deeper than simply a tech change (which is a quick update, let's face it) - Strava is an American company and there seems to be a definite bias against padel (from Latin America/Europe) in favour pickleball (North American).

Recent reports suggest there are currently over 25 million padel players worldwide, compared to around 8.5 million pickleball players, predominantly centred in the US. A huge difference.

So I don't think Strava is going to add padel as an activity to the app anytime soon, if only to take a somewhat childish stance against the massively booming global sport of padel to protect pickleball (and other established racket sports like squash & tennis).

I definitely won't be subscribing to Strava for the time being - Garmin and its easy inclusion of panel work perfectly well for me.

I agree ! I was about to post about that. My first sport is padel so I find the app is not complete without it, it’s not representative of my activities. Pleaseee add padel ! 🎾
