Can you add functionality to either:

A. set a goal for all "on foot" activities (e.g. miles/time/elevation for hike, run, trail run, walk, etc...)?

B. set a goal for a manually selected group of activities so users can track miles/time/elevation for any collection of activity types that they track regularly?

Option A is just adding another group to the existing options list but would be very helpful for users like me that want to track hiking and running miles together. Option B is similar to the pre-configured activity groups that exist, but instead of being restricted to a single activity, all activities, or the other pre-configured groups (Off-Road sports, All Run, All Ride, All E-ride), users would have way more flexibility to track goals across whichever activity combinations they want.

Rather than create a different Idea post that may be considered covered by this one, I'm just thumbing (up) this one.

What I would like is to be able to set goals for my Rowing, as opposed to swimming (for my case).

Basically, it would be nice to pick your 3 (or more, for some athletes) activities, instead of being limited to Triathlon-related goals (as much as I appreciate those).

This is one that I came here specifically to bring up. There are many instances when it would be useful to create a goal based on a collection of activities, and also to restrict a collection of activities. For me personally, I want to set an elevation goal for all sports, but I don't personally consider elevation gained when doing a Zwift ride to count towards my totals. It would be ideal to create my elevation goal based on human powered, outdoor (real-life) elevation gained.

Currently, I am way past "on track" for my elevation goal because of all of the virtual riding I did in the winter, so I have no way to actually keep track of my real current status for my annual goal.

Perhaps instead of being able to select a single activity type, or a single pre-configured activity group, goals can be created based off a user configured collection of activity types using a multi-select checkbox.

I'm using annual elevation goal for cycling for several years already. But I can track my progress on iOS app only, but not on the website. Is it possible to see all goals on every platform I log on?

Thanks for answer 👍

As a person who can't run as much as I want, but still do on occasion, I'd love to be able to have my elliptical workouts and runs combined as a single goal, and I think it makes good sense in general too.

For my goals of like to split between workout, climbing, and cardio. the first 2 are easy but the third is hard as depending on the week it will be a combination of cycling, running, and swimming. so i’d like to be able to have a custom goal that is about time and combines those activities

I was almost reporting a bug because it looked like my weekly running goal was completely off. Turns out trailrunning doesn't count as running which seems weird.

Your idea would solve that issue for me.

Just trying to have this idea gain some attention. I would love to have a combo run/trail run/hike/walk goal. I like the idea of having check boxes to select activities you want to include in a certain goal. Getting back into running shape after pregnancy I wanted to be able to track miles per week any way I can - walking or running. The training log is helpful but a goal would be nice too.
