Right now there are a number of Cycle Sports, including “Ride,” “Mountain Bike Ride,” “Gravel Ride,” “E Bike ride,” “E-Mountain Bike Ride,” even “Velomobile ride!” But no Winter Fat Tire Bike ride.

This is a problem because winter fat tire riding on single track trails is **much** slower than on a Mountain Bike in the summer.

This feature request is to add “Winter Fat Tire Ride” so people in cold weather climates can effectively track winter rides.

Without this feature, the app is far less useful for outdoor riding in the winter—we can’t track our progress, see PRs, see how we are doing on leaderboards etc.

It’s funny, I was actually faster on some groomed trails that smoothed out the rocks and chunk. But I also have plenty of slow rides when the snow is tough going. I think this would be nice to split them up, especially if “gravel” is it’s own type… which is no different than your standard road bike ride… fat bike rides in comparison are miles shorter and slower in many cases.

100 % support the idea of having a fat biking as an activity.

Totally agree, very difficult to assess progress when fatbike rides are compared to MTB rides.  This would be great!

I ride my ICT year-round.   Drop the "winter" part.

Yah would love this. So annoying changing it every ride in winter.

I've been looking/hoping for this option ever since I switch to Strava. Fat Tire Bike is already an option in other sport tracking app, such as Map My Ride.

I’m sure I speak for all Yoopers when I say - this NEEDS to happen!!

If it’s a matter of using the term Fat because someone in the community will find offensive, find an alternate word like wide tire, snow tire.
