Contribute anonymize route activity

I’d like to have the option of contributing anonymized personal heat map (hidden portions would remain hidden) without having to mark the activity as visible to everyone. I think the amount of data available would grow significantly if this option was available, benefitting the whole community.

Thanks for your post and apologies for any confusion.

It's not necessary to make an activity visible to everyone in order for it to contribute to the Heatmap. Activities which use the 'Everyone' or 'Followers' privacy controls are eligible to be included in the global heatmap while activities which use the 'Only You' privacy control are not included.
