On October 1st, 2024. Strava "killed" the FatMap app acquired months prior. FatMap was FANTASTIC. The navigation on the map was smooth, unclustered, with easy access to the layers of interest (my primary use was for Backcountry Skiing, with multiple relevant layers (aspect, avalanche terrain notably)), but it also served me great for summer activities.

The current Maps tab on the Strava Mobile App, while it's got some great features, is completely clustered. Routes are being pushed, and if I opt for a "Map Only" view on my map features, it doesn't save that preference on subsequent re-open. Can we save Map Settings so they stay locked in from previous navigation?

FatMap layers - Why on earth, would you kill an App like FatMap, if their features aren't YET integrated within your mobile app. Whoever made that decision certainly knows how to piss off their user base. Please finalize that integration (if that's the end goal), or bring FatMap back. (Signed - A loyal but very annoyed Strava and FatMap user).
