It would be useful for running splits (whether miles or kilometers) to show actual elevation gain and loss instead of the useless net elevation per lap.  If I’m dropping 100 feet into a ravine then coming right back up that 100 feet on the other side, a net elevation of 0 doesn’t tell the story.  The laps in this image in no way represent the workout I did.

it would be just as useful to show in the workout details how much actual elevation was gained/lost for each structured segment (I.e hill repeats).  Similarly, this image doesn’t really tell me how much elevation I’ve actually gained or lost on any particular lap like Garmin Express does.
