Morning All runners 🏃‍♂️

Suggestion for the moderators/platform designers, would be great if Strava introduced measurement of VO2 Max. HR is currently measured, this could easily be integrated to work out a user's VO2 Max score, and have this split into 4/5 zones, as they do on Samsung Health. This would help me track my progress a lot more and give me more motivation to improve, especially when it's bloody cold like it was this morning😂

Thanks😁

The lack of VO2 max estimation is one of the main things that stops Strava from being my one-stop-shop for running data. If Runalyze can implement this then so can you!

Having VO2 max calculated in Strava would be very helpful.  Some devices may do it (e.g. Garmin), IF you use those devices for HR during your workouts, but they're all doing the same thing - using heart rate data (workout and recovery) to calculate it - no magic.  But for those of us who don't have a device that we use to log this separately during, for instance, indoor cycling workouts, a more universal answer is for Strava to use our workouts along with other data such as Apple Watch data to calculate it.  I personally don't want to have to start a workout on my Apple Watch each time I jump on Zwift, since there are much better heart rate monitors out there.  Strava:  Please consider adding VO2 Max to your already impressive arsenal of athletic data

@Nux8584 If you have recorded power with your cycling workouts you could i.e. register at intervals.icu and connect your Strava account there. It will give you an estimation based on your 5 min power max. But this also means you don't need any estimation - If you get better at 5 min intervalls your VO2max increases, you "only" don't know the exact number that would be imprecise with all these estimations anyway.

@Jan_Mantau - Thanks for the suggestion to try intervals.icu.  I registered and am very impressed with their interface and the data you can see there. Thanks again - I appreciate it!
