Please add free diving and Scuba diving into Strava

Hi,

It would be great to have free diving and scuba diving sports into Strava, in a similar manner to what Garmin Connect allows. 

At the moment, I am using a Garmin Descent 1 and activated the synchronization between Garmin Connect and Strava, but every time I go Scuba Diving or Free-diving, Strava recognizes it as Swimming. Which is normal because it does not support underwater sports.

In summary, it would be great to have the following features in Strava:

1. Free-diving as a sport in Strava

2. Scuba Diving as a sport in Strava.

 3. Allow the interface to get the data for Free-diving or scuba-diving sessions from Garmin Connect, recognizing the session features (depth, time underwater, etc.)

Morning all,

Although incredibly disappointing, Strava have already responded to this chat group to state that they will not be adding diving as a category. I’m equally disappointed, and frustrated given the range of obscure sports listed in the app.

This would be awesome!!! At least having something really basic like total dive logs + acum dive time would be a great way to keep track of our diving adventures

It seems that strava keeps silent about this despite lots of reuest messages... I don't undrestand when it's not developing, it use to be existing in the past..

I'm wondering what  is the best way to at least have answers....

Please add freediving to Strava. This isn't about "new sport type" (there are already too many) but supporting the specific metrics interesting to divers. In particular, depth tracking and underwater / above water time. It would be great if it could be tracked in the WearOS app.
