The idea is to have the option to have share equipment with others strava members, and it traduce that all the "owners" of a bike can select the same bike for their activities and to know the total kilometers of the bike, etc. Sometimes families have shared bikes and it can be interesting that more than one member can select the same bike to have the true count of the usage/distance of the bike.
It can work that one member "upload" the bike and choose between his strava friends the person o person who also use that bike. Once that person accept include this shared equipment, will be possible for him to choose that bike in his activities.
