It will be great to sync Strava x OTF data because athletes go to different workout classes and want to track and share their workouts in one place with their friends.

I think this is important because:

  • Many athletes go to workout classes outside of Strava's ecosystem like Peloton and Zwift
  • Strava is the central hub for all workout data
  • Athletes are adding the data manually from their workouts here
  • Good partnership opportunity for both Strava x OTF

I don’t think I have the power to introduce the idea to OTF.  I am going to probably quit OTF and back to Peloton anyway. Wearing two devices in a gym is a hassle.  Besides there are no people or treadmills in my living room, lol.

Would love this functionality as well

Imagine if all of the OTF classes could be a live competition at the same time on Strava

Streamlined functionality between Strava and OTF would be great. I have been adding my OTF data through my Apple watch; and have just switched to a Garmin watch which is a bit better, but it’s rough both ways. It’s a shame when we can’t see our data easily in one place!

This would be so great! Right now I use HealthFit app to export it but it never has all the data I want.

I’d suggest an OTF/Strava integration that includes the tread mileage too! I use Strava to track mileage on my shoes. It already does that for Peloton runs, so this feels like it could be an easy thing to implement and would benefit a lot of us!! Pls Strava team get this integration! 🙂

OTF/Strava integration would be awesome!!

Yes, 100% agree.

recently started mixing my 5 days of riding or peloton with orange theory and it’s a royal bummer that we can’t sync that data back to Strava, now that your annual fee went up maybe some of that can be spent on meaningful integrations and upkeep with latest api’s.

@michellethrun does OTF upload to Healthfit which then uploads to Strava?

It does but it doesn’t push mileage data. Only as a HIIT workout! It would be nice to be able to have the mileage so it will add to the shoe tracking on Strava!

Syncing Strava with Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) data is essential because it allows athletes to centralize diverse workout information, including classes from platforms like Peloton and Zwift. As many manually input this data into Strava, automating this process enhances user experience. This integration presents a valuable partnership opportunity for both Strava and OTF.

Not sure whether this is a Strava issue or an OTF issue or both but the sooner this gets resolved, the better.  I have not found a way to send a message directly to OTF corporate so I have been on this case with my studio to take up the cause with corporate.  Not holding my breath though...this has been a long standing issue without progress.

Syncing Strava with OTF  data is crucial as athletes engage in diverse workout classes, and Strava serves as a central hub for all their fitness data. Many athletes use platforms like Peloton and Zwift, leading to manual data entry on Strava. A partnership between Strava and OTF could enhance user experience, offering a seamless integration for tracking and sharing workouts across various platforms.

Mt.  Kenya, precisely!  Add MyFitnessPal into the mix.  The integration is so key and the idea of putting up walls around users' fitness data is passé.  High time for TPTB on both sides to sort this out.

How can we vote on this feature?

Syncing Strava with OTF (Orangetheory Fitness) data would indeed enhance the user experience by consolidating workout information in one central hub. It accommodates users engaging in various workout classes, providing convenience and promoting  seamless tracking and sharing of fitness activities. Such integration aligns with the evolving fitness landscape and could be a valuable partnership for both Strava and OTF.
