Swim location added to Strava Maps

It would be great if Strava could show swimming spots uploaded by users. This would allow users to find new swimming spots, become local legends etc.

this would not require you to track a particular route but rather log a swim within a 50 meter radius of the ‘spot’.

i think open water swimmers and dippers would find this really useful. Also to highlight busy times etc.

Thanks for your post. Our map data for roads, places, parks, points of interest, and trails sourced from OpenStreetMap. It is possible to add Points of Interest to OSM so they can be viewed and used by others on Strava.
