Fitbit Sense 2

Has anybody else had problems with Fitbit?I’ve recently done 2 x 5km runs and the information from my Fitbit device has differed massively when it’s linked to my Strava account. I’ve just completed a 5km run in 27ish mins and when the data reached Strava it said I’d done 3.24km in 18ish mins. The pace was the same at 5’32”/km. I've already deactivated and reactivated my Fitbit to Strava and that hasn’t helped. has anyone got any ideas?

Strava app uploading more distance than what I am running

Help! My Strava is not showing an accurate distance, often adding on more Km. How can I fix this bug? Thanks:)

Speed wrong

I am a paying user so please don’t answer with “subscribe ….”. I use an iPhone 15 pro max. Everything is updated, Strava app has been re-installed etc. Strava doesn’t show the church speed during cycling any more. When I start it takes at least a kilometre until a speed is shown at all. But right after showing it, it freezes for a few minutes. That issue repeats. So I never have the actual speed.  Curiously, the distance is shown correctly. I assume it’s not an gps issue. Has anybody a solution?

I have made ten routes to circle the state of Louisiana, in ten days.  I'd like to connect all ten routes, into one route.  Is there a way to do that?

Cheating user

There's a user who keeps uploading activities without having ridden them on a proper bicycle. It's a velomobile and therefore has almost no wind resistance. He sets KOMs on flat segments almost every single day, no matter the wind condition - with heart rates consistently low and sometimes not even pedaling. I have asked him nicely to properly designate his activities - no response. I have flagged all his activities - he unflags them and has started flagging some of mine as a response. I have already opened a ticket to report this user but I do want to make sure that such blatant acts of cheating and flouting the user guidelines are properly handled and the user's profile blocked. New Member here. Martial Artist looking to continue fitness journey

Hello Strava.I'm new to this app as I've looked for a different solution to track my caloric output during training sessions. I had heard that this was a good option for many sports and activities that I do for cross training (running, weightlifting, walking, yoga and HIIT) that support my Martial Arts practice. I had been using my Apple Watch to track calories but it is too big and dangerous to use while sparring and jiujitsu grappling so I moved to a Coros tracker in conjunction with Strava.I'm currently a black belt in mixed martial arts based in tae kwon do, brazilian jiujitsu, kickboxing and western boxing. Looking forward to interacting with Strava!

Hello dear creators of Strava! I am writing to you because of the latest update with Strava routes, they are very poorly generated, they are of the same type and do not correspond to the requests at all. I understand that the developers wanted to do the best, but I kindly ask you to return the previous version of generating routes for a premium account.

Consistency

I feel that consistency is ultimately a leading factor when referring to progression. I think without continuity progress is unattainable and merely a mirage. I myself have slipped quite often these past few years and that basically relates back to me not being constant day in and day out. I've been taking more of an easy back door approach which is difficult to admit especially when referring to one's self, it's definitely not an easy thing to admit. I know all I can do is whatever may be necessary that particular day for me to do. But most importantly do not skip a day or days. I must remember that when it comes to goal setting, "one day at a time is unmistakenly number one!"

Durée de la course / Race duration

Bonjour à tous,  Je cherche à comprendre pourquoi la durée de la course ne correspond plus à la version téléchargée une fois que le recalcule de la distance est fait. Et pourquoi ce n'est pas possible de revenir en arrière. J'ai fait un 24h récemment, lors du téléchargement il affiché bien 24.00.15 puis après le recalcule de la distance il affichait 18.40.12  J'ai voulue revenir à la distance d'origine mais ca n'a pas fonctionné. Merci pour votre aide. And why it's not possible to go back. I did a 24h recently, when downloading it showed 24.00.15 then after recalculating the distance it showed 18.40.12 I wanted to return to the original distance but it didn't work.Thanks for your help. Push Notifications - Not Working One UI 6 (Android)

Hi,Is anyone else having issues with Android and One UI with Strava and Push Notifications?For a while now i have been missing any notifications on the app being pushed to my phone, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but now luck with that. I have recently updated my Phone Software but not resolved it, there has been at least one Strava App update but again no fix to this problem. Feel like i am missing lots of comments and replies and also activities by my favorite atheletes.I have submitted a ticket but there is minimal updates on the situation and i feel like i have been forgotten about, just want to know if the issue is widespread or specific to a certain OS version. I pay annually for the subscription that has went up but i feel like i am not really getting much for my money especially now that i have this issue.

The latest app update [353.0.0] has made the Maps significantly worse

I’ve always appreciated the clarity and simplicity of Strava’s map tool, which has been indispensable for both planning my runs and navigating on the trail. However, the recent update has introduced new features that, while intended to enhance our experience, unfortunately clutter the map and compromise its ease of use. The additional information now overlays the map, making it difficult to focus on the essentials, particularly when I'm out on the trails.While I recognize the good intentions behind these updates, the true value of the map tool for me has always been its straightforward, clean presentation, showcasing both global and personal heatmap data without unnecessary distractions. Previously, I could circumvent the issue of multiple route suggestions by switching to the 'Saved' tab, a workaround that's no longer available. Now, the route suggestion feature is omnipresent, detracting from my user experience. I'm not looking for an array of suggested routes each time I check the m

Cycling a road bike in Denmark 🇩🇰

Hi Strava users! I'm taking my road bike to Denmark and was wondering if anyone has any tips for rides in Jutland. Also I’ve read somewhere that all bikes need a bell and sets of reflectors by law, I hadn’t planned for that, and I’ve never seen most road bike riders with these attached in the uk, or any other European country. How strictly is it enforced? I will have lights but am unlikely to be riding at night. Thanks for your advice and clarification!

Fitness score

I don't understand the fitness score. If I do a very hilly slow run, then my fitness score only goes up by 1. The same distance on flat tarmac at average pace, my fitness score goes up far more. It doesn't appear to take account of elevation gain or gradients which is annoying.

Rides showing up that I didn’t do

Today I received an email that I lost a KOM on a ride from August 2023 that I did not do , I actually was 300 km away from a factious ridiculously fast ride doing another ride at the same time at home . looking through my calendar I found one more ride that I didn’t do , …what’s going on ?   Have I  been hacked ?

Garmin Upload Issue

I did a ride a ride at 8.12 this morning and returned home at 12.30, the ride loaded to Garmin app okay but hasn’t uploaded to Strava.I know there’s been issues overnight and a fix was put in place however the issue seems to have remained.is anyone else still experiencing issues loading up to Strava?

Strava route planning improvements

I make fairly intensive use of the Strava map function to plan cycling routes, and while many aspects are great (crowdsourcing popular routes especially) I have a growing list of things I think could make route planning better. I’d be interested in hearing other people’s views…and am hoping Strava can do something with the thoughts below. Including major road names/numbers as standard on the Strava map would be a good addition, especially when route planning in an unfamiliar area. It helps to know you’re not inadvertently planning a route down the local bypass.it would also be really helpful if the Strava map you use for route planning showed your favourited segments on it. Case in point, from time to time I try to get real about tackling some proper (uk) hills. The top 100 climbs app lets you access all of these as segments in Strava, but trying to plan a route involving one or more of these still involves you first memorising where they appear on the map and then plotting your route

heatmaps

One of the things i loved about strava, and why i started paying for subscription, was the heatmaps. They changed them a while back and have not been as enjoyable. However, a recent change change has made them almost a waste of time. I ride a 60 mile ride at least once a month and, each month its in a different place. I would love to see these adding to my heatmap but, strava does this stupid color variant where the fewer times you ride the route, the harder it is to see. So... when I look at my heatmap, all of the amazing rides are barely visible. Strava should change the heatmap back to how it used to me. The heatmap is a map of routes weve ridden. If weve ridden the route.... we should be able to see it. At least you could make this an option. Many of us needing to use third party heatmaps to get the effect.

Virtual cycling mileage not included in Club leader board.

Hello friends , Usually After I finished virtual cycling via Rouvy app.It wil automatically upload to my Strava and it will count my virtual cycling distance to my club leader board.But after January 2024 I got a problem ,after finished activity It count distance in my personal distance not my Club leader board ,so I have to manually upload .FIT file to my strava and chose "Ride" instead of "Virtual ride" And I tried to disconnect strava from Rouvy and Re-connect. But a problem still existed.What should I do?Thanks a lot 🙂

I'm new here, a vintage roadie (both me and most of my 10+ bikes). I've been using Strava for four or five years, mostly to track my yearly mileage.I'm interested in downloading my activity through the API. I know about the bulk export feature and have used it, but will be looking for something more real-time.
