Ability to move start/finish points around an existing route

If you see a route on strava and save it, the person who ran/cycled/etc that route previously might have had a different start/finish point than the one you would like to use. 

It would be great if the facility existing to lock the route in place and then adjust the start/finish points of that route. Currently moving the start/finish points changes the route each time the start/finish changes and that makes it painful to tweak routes.

Thanks for posting about this.  You should be able to accomplish this by switching to Manual Mode when editing the Route

There are a few things to be aware of when using this mode:

• Manual mode will no longer ensure your route's path follows roads or trails.
• Popularity and elevation selectors will be disabled.
• Distance and elevation can only be roughly estimated for manual edits.
