Heatmaps are for me great for exploring unmapped or lesser travelled trails in my area and I often find myself creating routes based on data from heatmaps. My frustration comes when I'm mapping a longer route and have to use manual mode to place waypoints along the trail. It would be great if the data from heatmaps could be used to map new routes so i don't have to place what feels like hundreds of waypoints manually. This would save a lot of time, make routes more accurate and would encourage exploring lesser travelled trails.
