It would be great to have a Stats Report capability in Strava  allowing the user to define report arguments. For example, the capability to report the total distance for a given period of time and activity type. The same for all stats and activities types.

It is important so we can notice the amount of effort we did for a certain period of time, based on activity types and stats. For example: total elevation on a cycling trip to Mallorca. Total calories in a Tour. Total distance in the last 10 days. Etc.

It would be great if there was a distance statistics at the end of the month that showed a year to date distance in Comparison to the year before.

I did a community search and could not find an idea on this topic.

It would be nice to see Training > My Activities > Sport - Summarize distance, time, elevation by year and overall.  If that would be too much effort how about allowing and export of the data to Excel or CSV so we can import it into our own spreadsheet.

For the large number of walks I did it would be a challenge to add up all the times and distances by hand. There for it would be nice to see a summary by year.

Thanks

Bob

Thank you for the response but apparently you did not understand my question or I did not explain it very well. I agree with your comment about a summary existing as you indicated, but unfortunately, it is a summary for a limited number of sports, four I believe.  I am looking for a summary/total for all each sport under sport types on the under My Activities page such as; SUP, alpine skiing, yoga, virtual cycling, x-country skiing, etc.

If I am missing something in your response please let me know.

thanks

bob

I have included one example to make my suggestion more clear.Screen Shot 2023-01-04 at 9.02.12 AM.png

I would agree to that seeing totals for all sports would be great. There are way more than 4 sports and I’m sure many Strava users do many more hours of other sports besides simply the 4 Strava currently prioritizes

Hi Strava Team,

What I really miss in Strava is the ability to analyse my different activities in a more flexible way. I use Strava to collect my activity data from multiple apps like Rouvy, Zwift, Garmin, Apple etc. That is really great! But now when I have all those data in one place, I am not able to analyse them in a flexible way.

Would be great to have the possibility to filter all my activity data by defining a free time period. And to get calculated all relevant key figures like for example time, distance, altitude.

Example:
I wish to know in total how long I was on my roadbike, what distance I made and what altitude I gained for
- last week
- last month
- last 2 months
- this year
- last year
- from March 10 till March 20 (or other free defined period)

This is just an example. There are much more thinkable scenarios. So as more felxible the analysis is as better for all of us 😉

A great place for such additional filter/analysis functionaltity would be the "My Activities" section.

I guess you would make a lot people very happy with this!!!

Hi @Soren

I was also looking for something similar. as a runner, I would like to see monthly total km clocked. There is some functionality on both the web and mobile version. But this one is specifically for me to say

How many KM did I run in (Drop-down / Month~2024) to see the results. For instance, you have a function where you see how many KM you did weekly with a nice summary on the far right, but it's done in weekly batches (Jan 29 - Feb 3) for instance, so what I would like to see is my KM grouped by month as a drop-down function.

This is what you currently get. It would be nice to get a monthly summary of the KMs you clocked.

@Soren

I found it on the web interface > Training Calendar

January_2024.PNG

February_2024.PNG

It would be nice to get the high level summary on the Mobile App. Just the summaries of the month

I would appreciate more granular stats on my Strava profile.

Currently on the web, I can see essentially annual stats by “sport categories”.

I would particularly appreciate chart stats (e.g. monthly bar chart) and especially please separate e-bike from bike rides (or allow showing stats separately by other special designations of rides that you allow, e.g. mountain vs road bike). E-bike is really a different category for me and I would like to filter these rides out from my regular bike stats.

Thanks for considering this. 🙂

So many users, like me, are obsessed with tracking our power. It would be great is we could sort and filter our entire history against the recorded power data…. Among other things. Like I’m really into data, so having the ability to find rides of various lengths, times, elevation, etc is super interesting to me. Garmin’s Connect site does this and it’s amazing. They even let you output a full spreadsheet of your data that you can use however you want.
