It will get to the point all equestrians will end up just using the bike function to record rides. It feels like until another main sport on here is impacted due to recording nothing will be done.
I can’t stress enough how beneficial for the strava community and financially positive it would be for Strava to add equestrian to sports. I want to be able to record all my sports in one place so only when equestrian is added will I then pay for premium.

I've really enjoyed using Strava for my outdoor activities but disappointed it's lacking some sports. I'd really like to see horseback riding added to the platform. Riding is something I participate in frequently and unable to appropriately record the activity. It would be great to see this added, especially since Strava allows dog tracking activities.
Several million horse riders in the UK and of course millions more worldwide. This thread has been going for over a year, apparently the idea is 'under consideration' but it's impossible to get any updates from Strava re where that consideration has got to. So I'll just keep using random activities ( walk, run, mountain bike etc) when I go for longer rides on my horse to record the route and distance etc.
