Add the ability to pair an External heart rate monitor to the Strava Wear OS app

Let s have a option to connect a chest Heart rate monitor to the wear os app. More accurate than most watches out there.

This idea has been posted before but it was archived by moderators. I am a Strava premium subscriber and I just bought my first very expensive wear OS watch. There are apps (Gear Tracker 2) on the Wear OS play store that provide this basic functionality for $20/year. Can anyone help me understand why this basic functionality is not a priority for premium Wear OS user like me? Especially it is available for the Apple watch.
