I have found quite a lot of popular biking routes where I cannot make a Strava route without using manual mode.  The reason for most of these seems to be that when a 'connection' between roads or paths-to-roads is labelled as a 'crosswalk' in OSM. Strava does not appear to use a crosswalk that as a viable feature to bike during auto-routing.

For local routes, I have had to change what is otherwise correctly marked as a crosswalk in OSM into a 'path' in OSM - which I don't like to do.  But it is the only way I can determine to make routing for local riders easier and possible.

Can Strava change the setting for OSM 'crosswalks' to allow for them to be used in auto-routing when creating Strava bike routes?
