I'm a collegiate athlete. Most of the time when I'm running at school I'm running on the road, but when I come home I run a lot on trails. However, only one default shoe is allowed for the "Running Activity."

IDEA: Users should be able to change their shoes depending on their own individual activity so that the mileage on your road-running shoes (mine are Brooks) doesn't get messed up. For example, I would like to be able to change my shoe to the REI trail-running shoe when I know I'm running on the trails so that my shoe mileage doesn't get messed up. So, basically, allow users to add different pairs of shoes depending on their own individual Strava activity.

Thanks for posting about this.  You can edit any activity and select the appropriate pair of shoes, no matter what your default is set to.  You can also set different defaults shoes for Run vs. Trail Run.  Check out full details at this link:
