Many running segments’ leaderboards are plagued with activities done by inline skaters, scooter riders and similar. At the same time, those activities often have an easily identifiable cadence pattern, and you can immediately say that such activity was not a run (fast consistent pace x low & inconsistent cadence).

Currently, the only way to get rid of these entries on the leaderboard is to flag them manually. It would be much better if an automated check was implemented - ideally both for currently uploaded activities (an athlete attempting to save such record as a “Run” is notified that they’re using a wrong activity type), as well as for historical records (option to trigger an auto-check for a specific segment and flag non-compliant activities).

This would help to clean up the segments leaderboards tremendously, making the competition more fair & fun.

It would be beneficial if Strava could implement an "auto flag" feature that advises members to correct their activity type. I've mis-tagged my Walk as a Run a few times, only to realise my error after saving my activity. While I was able to correct my mistake afterwards, having an "auto flag" in place would have saved me time and hassle - using cadence as the algorithm.

I believe this feature would be a valuable addition to Strava and would greatly benefit its users.
