If the FTP changes, either after an active FTP test or if you have set the automatic function, you have to manually enter the value into Strava each time. This should happen automatically.

I would add Zwift and Trainer Road for this as well. Strava is currently my trainings Hub (because Garmin doesn't work for multi app training). I connect Garmin, Zwift and Trainier Road to Strava. Because of the lack of FTP sync it shredded my Fitness and Freshness after an FTP jump from an outdoor race (which seems to be the only way of syncing an FTP). Strava should sync or check the FTP related to all the data it receives.

Hi,

I would also highly appreciate to add this feauture to automatically synch the actual/updated FTP out of Garmin Connect.

The permission and the interface to Garmin Connect is alredy available (if allowed by the user), so please synch this data as well.

I started with regular bike-training again in 2024 and my (Garmin-)FTP has already been increased several times within the last weeks, on Strava it still remains on the same value.

So, therefore I would like to request as well to add automatically synchronization of FTP with Garmin Connect (and maybe with other providers like Wahoo or Zwift).

Thanks in advance.

The auto detect new FTP feature on Garmin is often wildly inaccurate. It takes 10 seconds to manually update your FTP setting on Strava. I do not want any of my settings changed automatically. This could be an optional feature for people who want it, but I most definitely do not want it.
