In the “Segments” section, under each activity, it would be great if this section contained a sub-section called “Best Segments”, placed at the top of the Segments section, listed currently. All of the athlete’s best segments for that activity would percolate up into this section for easy viewing when the activity is posted. I had this idea after completing a 28-mile ride with approximately 230 segments where I randomly changed my effort throughout the ride. After completing this ride, I was sure I had some great segments, but it was difficult (and very time consuming!) to find them, especially since I was riding a route that I had never ridden before with unknown (to me) segment names. The criteria for placing segments in this section (in my opinion) would be based on how well someone did relative to their peers, based on age group and being male or female. For example, if my best segment was the 28th fastest time on a segment with 345 total people completing this segment in my age group, being male, it would be a “28/345” segment (top 8.1 percentile), with my second-best segment being a 65/578 segment (top 11.2 percentile), etc. Then, these segments (along with a few others) would go into the Best Segments section, listed in this order. Maybe list 5-10 segments in this section, or base it off a percentage of all the segments covered in an activity? I think this would be the best way for someone to see/find their best segments. Then, after identifying their best segments they can look at these segments to see how they compare to their followers, club mates, the All-Time list, etc. Otherwise, it’s very difficult to find these segments. I think this would be a very popular feature of Strava, with many athletes paying attention to it after completing their activities.
