Swims are just as important as any other activity. When my indoor swim is completed I’m proud of it as much as I am of a bike ride, run, or walk. Yet Strava indoor swim posts are the most boring activity to see in the feed because all they contain are text. My idea is to add a visualization to a swim post that looks like a dashboard that includes laps, distance, and laps with pace. This will give the post equal footing with all the other activities that include maps and pictures.

Yeah, something kinda like the visualization that comes from Form goggles would be a good starting point if they're looking for inspiration. Look at the Strava feed of anyone that uses those things (pro triathlete Lionel Sanders, for example) to see what I mean.

Great idea. The visualization on his swim post is very unique and draws your attention. Hopefully Strava will find value in the idea.

Thanks for the previous posts. I agree and upvote you :).
I suggested the following to Support and they directed me here:

In the swim activity, the y-axis is not adapted to the numbers that really matter in swimming. In my particular case: My pace could range from 56s/100m (for a 25yd sprint) or maybe 2m40s/100m on a very slow recovery lap. However, maybe there is one mistake by the watch and reads a stop or something else as 8m-100 and then the whole barchart goes kind of flat.

It would be cool that the chart focuses on the real-business and if something is not displayed because of the y limits, it is OK not to, or there could be a checkbox to display all values.

Hope you like it. Best and thanks

Thanks, Casteln for the upvote and for adding to what would be more useful insights.
