Strava needs to incorporate cadence reporting for running and it also needs more options other than full or half km for interval coaching or tracking. 250 meter would be helpful for those trying to track cadence

Hey @RunningCat thanks for sharing your thoughts here. Do you mean to implement cadence in the running analysis or during the activity recording? What do you mean by "reporting"? If your device records cadence you can toggle it on in the Activity Overview and analyze it after your run. I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting here so please feel free to clarify and add more context to this suggestion. Thank you!

what I mean is implement cadence in the running analysis so it’s called out in coaching during the activity recording

Are you referring to audio announcements and that you would like for the audio cues to notify you about your cadence while you're running?

@RunningCat we haven’t heard back from you and will be archiving this idea unless you update us within a week. Thanks!

I use a Samsung 5 watch with Strava to record and review my running.  I find Strava overall very good, and more reliable/usable than my previous running app. Except, I miss having cadence data.

Previously I used Under Armour app, which automatically captured cadence data, which I found very useful.

Clearly the Samsung watch captured cadence data.  Greatly appreciate if Strava can capture cadence data and include this in the review data.

Thank you
