Hi Team Strava!!
I enjoy using Strava's club events to create events to advertise and link both Strava and non-Strava users to scheduled club events. My only challenge is when creating an event that's a meet-up only, I must choose an activity and always state the event is a "Meetup Only" and not a "Ride" in the event description. Also, as I create the event, I must choose various ride options which are not applicable for a "Meetup Only".
Would the Strava Team be willing to add a selectable option that would allow club events to be created with a "Meetup Only" option?
As an example, my Strava club and Trek Bicycle Houston may want to meetup at the shop as volunteers supporting an aid station supporting a bike ride. I would want to create a Strava club event and share the link, but I would have to create it as a "Ride" event to do so. It's ok to create it as a "Ride" related event but it's just a meetup requiring no ride details.
