Improve Club Search Function

When searching for clubs using the club search page, you must input a name in the "club name" field if you filter by sport type. This restricts the ability to view all clubs by sport type. I would like to be able to do that (how should I know the name of a club beforehand, isn't the point of the search to find clubs).

This could be patched extremely quickly by making the default (empty field) return a wildcard character (which is likely how it's already implemented when not filtering by sport). 

While we're at it, it would be nice to be able to sort the clubs (such as by membership or by distance from a location), but that is secondary.

Hi, just curious, how are you using the feature / what platform? In the iOS app, it’s actually working - when I open the Groups tab, go to Clubs, and select a particular sport type and/or location, the list of clubs gets automatically filtered without having to input anything into the search field.

I was using it on the website but I didn't think to see if it was different on my phone, so that's a good idea. 

I have an android, so I can't speak to iOS behavior, but on my phone it seems to work the same as the website except that there's no option leave blank the location filter on the app (because not specifying a location default to my current location). Therefore, you can filter by all clubs at a location, but not all clubs in general, which is what I'd like to be able to do. I tried to get around this by filtering by more and more broad locations, but they don't seem to group properly, e.g. when filtering by my state it shows less clubs than when I filter locally, and even less if I try to filter by the whole country...

So to recap, the app version is marginally better because it doesn't throw an error when filtering by sport type, but still lacks the ability to search all clubs in an effective way.
