Maps - Ability to turn off location marker and locus

Add a toggle to enable/disable the location marker and it's surrounding locus circle.

This is not always wanted or needed - e.g. in heatmaps, where it can obscure information.

Thanks for submitting your idea.  Could you provide some additional clarity?  Are you referring to the Mobile App, Web, or both?  Is this on the "Record" screen, the Create Route screen, etc?  Thanks very much.

Agree with this! Example below from Web, it adds a lot of noise to the map and obscures some data. It's also not particularly relevant -- I don't need to know my location when I'm sitting at home using Strava on the Web.
