Please add (Support Palestine) in the Featured Map Types 🇵🇸

Almost 11,000 have been killed in Gaza and the West Bank, many still missing under the rubble, and so many are at risk of dying out of hunger, dehydration, or wound contamination... We can't remain silent about it, nothing justify this genocide. It must stop now.  Therefore, please allow us to show solidarity with the Palestinian innocent civilians  by adding (Support Palestine) in the Featured Map Types, as we can support Ukraine, we need to be able to show support to Palestine 🇵🇸 Thank you!

Today is day 88 of the ethnic cleaning and genocide against the Palestinian people by the settler colonial entity and Strava still continues to ignore the requests of its athletes to add a line on their map for Palestine. If it is not clear to anyone before 10/7/23, I hope it is clear by now that Strava does not answer to its athletes; it answers to its investors, just as any institution (government, universities, hospitals,  corporations, etc.) answers to its funders/donors/investors.  Two of the biggest investors in Strava are Sequoia Capital and TCV, venture capital firms with substantial investments in "Israel".   Sequoia Capital even has an office in Israel and they boycotted a conference in October because the conference's CEO dare suggested that "Israel's" attacks on Gaza were war crimes (link). Just think how twisted that is. With investors like these, you really think Strava will add a line for Palestine? Adding lines for Pride, BLM, Ukraine did not threaten the financial interests and, more likely than not, the personal ideologies of Strava's investors; adding a line for Palestine does.  

But of course, the cost/benefit equation can change if a critical mass of people cancel their subscriptions or refuse to subscribe because of this, if the cost of Strava's refusal to add a line for Palestine is too high for them.  We are not freeing Palestine y'all. Palestine is freeing us. Freeing us to see how the world operates and how virtually all our institutions and organizations are compromised. Freeing us to see the limits of representational government, corporate activism, and free speech. Freeing us to see the failures and untenability of the current structures so that we can make a change for a liberated and more sustainable future.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

Come on Strava! Why is it taking you so long to act on this?  22k lives lost, increasing by 100's daily.  The support Ukraine map type was available in no time, dual standards?

Our requests are going unanswered, but we will not stop asking.

People from all over the world are asking, because we care, and we support this cause. Why is nothing being done? 

If we can support Ukraine, pride, and black lives matter then what's wrong with accepting our request... Palestinian lives matter too!!!  Regardless of race, nationality, gender, religion etc, we come together using this platform to continuously show our support. Do what's right, PLEASE!

Experts around the world have called this genocide, the Israeli government has openly called for ethnic cleansing, 30,000 have been murdered including 10,000 children, with thousands other permanently disabled. Almost 400 medical workers, over 100 journalists, hundreds of UN workers. This is unprecedented and brutal! Let us support Palestine the way people support Ukraine or frankly this is clearly racist & Islamophobic!

One of Strava's community standards is to "Be inclusive and anti-racist: Strava is committed to actively dismantling and eradicating racism and discrimination in all forms." If there has been a Support Ukraine map, doesn't denying a Support Palestine map contradict this statement? Shame on Strava.
