Would it be possible to have the profile of a climb/segment split into pieces of 100m or 200m of length and then each piece has a color coding from green to dark red to highlight gradient. This would make it easier to get an overview of the different part of a segment.

When looking at the profile of either a route riden or the profile of a specific segment, the profile is simply a grey chart on white background. If the profile shown could be enhanced with colors for each 100-200meters or so, it would make it much easier to see the steepness of the climbs and exactly how that varies over a climb rather than just being able to read average gradient for a segment.

Visually I am thinking something like they do on this website for climb profiles:
